This was what GK Laura Drive in Taguig witnessed last June 29 in their community as a GK volunteer, Ben Donato celebrated his 26th birthday with them. He brought with him 10 of his friends and of course, he also brought Jollibee himself who’s beloved by all Filipino kids. As he celebrated his birthday, he also invited the June celebrants to celebrate their birthdays with him. There were seven kids who also got to blow their candles off their cake and were also able to get their wishes for their birthdays.

The event started off with a lunch from Jollibee and like all birthday parties, parlor games ruled the afternoon. Even the parents participated in the games and everyone just had a really great time. To add up to the lively afternoon, dance numbers from the kids and Jollibee gave extra delight to everybody.

Truly that afternoon was a joyous occasion for GK Laura Drive as it was able to bring smiles on the faces of the kids. Not only did it affect the lives of the kids but it also made an impact on Ben Donato himself. From his own words, he said: “I heard about your community through my best friend, Deluck Boonsirithum who is also part of GK Taguig. When I visited your community last Saturday, ang gaan ng pakiramdam ko sa lugar ninyo. Your kids really welcomed us with smiles. Perhaps God really wanted me to be there to share happiness and blessings as I celebrated my 26th birthday last June 29.”
