"I consider everything as fun when I volunteer. even the part where we have to sleep on the floor without any sleeping materials, eating the food na not my type, malipasan ng gutom, the times when we even need to hitch cars, the long rides, the sleepless nights and the cramming part.I love the the part when i get to know different stories of people and the part that really impacts me is when I see the community gather, do bayanihan and see the smiles on their faces as if telling us that they love what they are doing."

"Tatlong oras kami naglakad papunta dito para sa Bayani Challenge pero walang nagrereklamo at dumaan pa kami ng mga bundok. 17 kaming mga kabataan na andito ngayon. Ilan sa amin first time tumulong at karamihan sa amin first time tumulong sa ibang barangay. Excited kaming magvolunteer. At excited kami na darating din ang Bayani Challenge sa barangay namin. Totoo pala ang nakikita namin sa photos na pinakita sa amin na mga makukulay na bahay."
