GK Balangay: Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan)

As of October 31, 2014, we have built and distributed ~791 GK Balangay boats to fishermen, replacing the “tools of the trade” that were damaged by Typhoon Haiyan. This helps them get back on their feet by providing a steady income stream and restoring a sense of normalcy in their lives. Our goal is to build 700 more boats by June 2015.
