As we called it a day after repacking some relief goods, this rainbow appeared as if to assure us that despite the dark sky, there is a rainbow of hope. Thank You Lord!

Updates from our team in Negros Occidental:

Bayanihan continues! Preparing the 1,200 food packs for Molocaboc Island, Sagay City

November 14

"For me, these are the most precious donations of the day. These two young girls found a fifty peso bill and rushed to the command central to donate what they found. I also saw these young kids, leaders of the elementary student government repacking rice. This is good training for them and further strengthened my belief that this country has a hope and the young will see it through!"

The Filipinos remain positive and hopeful amidst challenges. And generous no matter how little we have. Take part, give, share. Operation Walang Iwanan Super Typhoon Update from Kuya Binsoi, our Area Coordinator for Western Visayas:

"I've been showing photos of the destruction from Yolanda but I would like to share this photo of the Kapitbahayan from GK Tsinoi, Escalante City who were really upbeat and joyfully welcoming of our presence. Despite what they experienced just a day before these nanays and kids were happily sharing stories of the storm and the other storms in their lives. It was a good time to also enjoy boiled bananas and tinabal for snacks."
