FAQS
Who can join the Bayani Challenge?
The Bayani Challenge is open to everyone who is interested to take part in this extraordinary act of solidarity and heroism for the nation. There is no age limit but for those under 18, please download and accomplish the
waiver forms to be collected on day 1. Bring your family, friends, classmates, and co-workers. The more the merrier!
How do I join? Is there a registration fee?
Register and kindly wait for a confirmation email from our secretariat.
For groups, one team consists of 15 members. If you are a smaller group or an individual, we will be merging you with other teams. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE, but you will take care of your own expenses.
What should I bring?
What areas can I volunteer in?
You can choose among the provinces listed above. Our local secretariat will then get in touch with you before the event for specific assignments.
How do I get there?
You will take care of your transportation from your current location to your Bayani Challenge site. More details on transportation cost and route will be given to you by our local secretariat.
Where will we be staying during the event?
We will be providing accommodations in the form of public school classrooms or a camp site where you can pitch your tents (tent city). Please bring you own sleeping bags and other necessities. If you wish to stay somewhere more comfortable, you can contact the different resorts near the area. Our local secretariat
team will get in touch with you upon confirmation of registration.
When is the best time to go? Do we have to stay for 5 days?
You can find the schedule of the 5-day highlight events in the website, together with a full list of the participating municipalities.
If you really can’t spend 5 days in the Bayani Challenge, you can always choose to come at your convenient time. And if you can stay longer, we’d definitely love to have you!
What happens after registration?
