Netsuite hosts Paraisong Pambata in GK Napindan Taguig
By: Katherine Calleja

Last March 31, 2016, Netsuite decided to host “Paraisong Pambata” in GK Napindan Taguig. Paraisong Pambata is a program that Gawad Kalinga started because they wanted to provide the kids a place where they can experience love and provide them with hope despite the tragedy they experienced. Gawad Kalinga chooses to still provide this because they believe that kids with or without the tragedy, must be able to witness how we co-Filipinos are in tune with our hearts. What better way than to give to those who are in need. May it be food, clothing, toys or even time.

Netsuite, is an American software company that sells software services to manage business’s operations and customer relations.  They have opened up in the Philippines a few years ago. Since then, they have been engaged with Gawad Kalinga for their CSR projects.

Clowns introduce themselves before they start the magic show.

Netsuite decided to throw a kiddie party, infused with games, prizes and food.  They brought along with them a clown to make the event more magical. The clowns were able to put smiles on the kids’ faces and fill the room with laughter.

Alex Rapporty, VP Head of Information Systems

Netsuite volunteers were accompanied by two important people. Alex Rapoport,  VP Head of Information Systems from the United States and Ladislave Sidlo, Director of IT Global Support Services from Slovakia. Infact, Alex was truly amazed with the different performances of the mothers and kids of GK Napindan, as it was his first time to visit the Philippines. He said that what they did, showcased the different talents of the Filipinos.  Both of them joined the games and made sure to be part of the program.

The beneficiaries of GK Napindan and Netsuite Volunteers

This experience was truly memorable as it made an impact to both the beneficiaries of GK Napindan and the Netsuite volunteers.
