Fundación Altadis supports Rosario GK Village

Last March 3, 2016, Fundación Altadis, turned over 10 new houses to the GK Rosario Village. Ines Cassin, the General Manager and Carlos Saez-Diez, the General Manager of Philippine Bobbin Corporation, gladly handed the keys to the grateful new residents.

To build a house for the people of Rosario to call home was already a big blessing to the community. Fundación Altadis, a non-for profit organization that maintains commitment to propose active participation, has done more than just give 10 new families a house to live in. They have supported a training program together with the Philippine Bobbin Corporation, that enabled around 114 families to small businesses that will allow them to increase their income and provide jobs to those who have none. The training program consisted of a series of courses about sewing machine usage in order to improve their skills in making aprons, embroideries, t-shirts, wallets and simple bags.

The Fundación Altadis organization has always been there to support Gawad Kalinga with their mission of ending poverty. In-line with this, they have decided to extend their generosity by building 20 more houses in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
