Children were running around with the widest smiles on their faces as they yelled to one another, "Oy, gi picture-an ka ni ate o! smile kuno diha!" And as we left aboard a large truck, they waved goodbye and thanked us, and then I remembered the reasons why we do the things we do at Gawad Kalinga."
