Last week's unified response to the massive flooding in NCR and nearby areas proved that heroism is present not just in the dusty pages of history books. It's present here and now, and the power to make it happen lies in the hands of volunteers and partners who come together in the spirit of selflessness and bayanihan. In times of disaster, miracles of solidarity can help our nation walk on water, but it should not end there.
