| Climate change affects us all. But it is the poor who suffer most when natural calamities strike. We have no control of the weather but we can help protect the environment by caring for the poor. By empowering poor communities to become good stewards of our natural resources, we do our share in protecting Mother Earth. |
Green Kalinga, GK's environmental program, integrates green technology into GK communities, helping to build green communities all over the country. But more than the introduction of renewable sources of energy and green practices, Green Kalinga saves the environment by saving the poor first, teaching them good values and helping them use their natural resources in a sustainable manner. |
Loving the poor and loving the environment are more related than you think. If you are a lover of Mother Earth, you are also called to love the people who needs her most. Join us as we build a better, greener world for the poor. Whether it be planting trees in the community or teaching the GK residents proper waste segregation, your help will go a long way in building a better world. |
