Saleduck selects GK as one of 2016 Social Awareness Awards finalists



Saleduck Asia Sdn Bhd, a Dutch company that organizes online platforms specializing in deals and coupons for online shoppers, recently tapped Gawad Kalinga to be part of their charity drive Saleduck Social Awareness Awards 2016. The said drive aims to recognize and honor organizations that dedicate their efforts for the betterment of the lives of the people.



“As part of our corporate DNA, we believe that the more you give, the more you will receive and we want our actions to reflect our values which means that aside from helping our customers save as they shop, we want to be able to stand behind a good cause and give back to our community as well. We truly admire the work that Gawad Kalinga does and the values that you stand by,” said Leanna Seah, Saleduck Country Management Malaysia and Singapore.

Here's how it works. Saleduck will be donating a total of PHP30,000 to the money pot. Visitors can vote for their favorite organization by clicking the "Vote Now" button under their respective profiles. Each participating organization will receive a percentage of the cash prize based on the percentage of votes that they receive.



“We are grateful for the opportunity to use Saleduck as a platform to increase the awareness of the work that we do in Gawad Kalinga,” said Janice Reynoso, Gawad Kalinga Marketing Head.
