Preschoolers “Love Out Loud” to GK SAMATA, LAS PIÑAS

Last March 2, 2016, the graduating students of Mindbuilders Preschool, the Chopin Seniors ages 5-6, turned-over the band instrument and check to the GK Youth Group of Gawad Kalinga Samata Community. Mindbuilders Preschool is an early-learning environment committed to maximizing child's potentials by creating exciting experiences in day-to-day activities and interactions that will inspire a life-long enthusiasm for learning. The school provides a holistic approach in the different areas of child development and they also create an environment where the kids make a difference.

Mindbuilders Preschool Chopin Seniors

According to Teacher Marah Estuesta from Mindbuilders Preschool, the members of the GK Samata Las Pinas Community prepared a program with the Daycare children to show their appreciation. The GK Samata youth were excited and grateful for the new musical instruments they received.

The Chopin Seniors was accompanied by their teachers, school principal and some parents during the event.  The group handed the band instrument (approximately P50, 000), toys for the community's Sibol Daycare and a check worth P20, 000 to be used for the youth development program of GK Samata. Samata stands for “Samahan ng Maralitang Talon Singko”, a GK community where Christian and Muslim live peacefully.

Chopin Seniors during "Love out Loud" Mini-concert

The Chopin Seniors raised the funds from the “Love Out Loud Mini-Concert” held last February 27. According to Rich Estuesta, “Another SOCIAL BUSINESS exercise for the Graduating Children of Mindbuilders Preschool (Prep Students 5-6 years old). Starting Nation Building at such a young age.  It just shows that age is no excuse.” The kids took all the initiative to plan, design, and implement their marketing collateral's. At young age they already know how to love out loud.
