Canadian Ambassador to the Phils Neil Reeder (with wife Aireen and son Brian) and Telus International VP for Brand, Marketing & Culture Warren Tait (with Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Milette S. Belen) visited Telus GK Village 1 in Quezon City last October 16, 2014. They went around the village with GK Executive Director Luis Oquiñena and visited the families in their homes. Mr. & Mrs. Reeder were so impressed with what they saw: the beautiful houses, vegetation and landscaping, and most especially the warm welcome of the Kapitbahayan (GK residents) as well as the lively dance performance of the cute Sibol (pre-school) Kids.
Ambassador Neil Reeder’s first engagement with Gawad Kalinga was when he joined the Telus Day of Service with Gawad Kalinga last December 2013. They did the relief repacking in Quezon City for 1,000 families affected by Typhoon Yolanda in Leyte.
