Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) signed a formal agreement with Gawad Kalinga (GK) last August 26, 2014 to provide homes for 20 families in Brgy. Ticad, Bantayan, Cebu. Together with the signing of agreement, they also already turned over the check for the village. Funds for the village came from the fundraising efforts of its employees worldwide.

Aside from this project for the Yolanda survivors, Standard Chartered is also helping refurbish an elementary school in San Martin, Sto. Nino, Bamban, Tarlac also through the help of GK.
